my view on gay and BL
September 2005 through the News of phoenix channel, I know that the fact of gay in China.<BR>It's amazing for me, cause in my mind, I think the culture of gay belongs to the other countries ,especially the west country. In China also have gay people is unbelievable for me.<BR>March 2007 , at this time I can meet the word "BL" anywhere , I wonder what is it. At the first time I know this culture is from the travesty of Japan but I still don't know the real meaning exactly. I ask someone by BBS , they give me the answer BL= Boy's love. <BR>Now, I think BL and gay is different . We can not give the equal mark between gay and BL. <P>I think gay have a long history in china, which is called 断袖之癖、龙阳之癖etc. gay is not only related to culture, but also related to mental aspect. </P><P> </P>
<P>BL is popular on internet recently. Novels, cartoons about BL are seem everywhere. Most of the readers are girls, which is often called 同人女. These young ladies draw perfect vision on BL. Thus I agree the idea that gay and bl are not the same.</P>
