Application Engineer (上海)
Main responsibilities:
-Guides customer requirements research for current, new and emerging products
-Coordinates with Sales Engineer in the selling process, providing direct customer support for pre-sales technical marketing activities, and ongoing advice and support for product application usage
-Confers with client’s Engineering & Production Department personnel to assist in definition and preparation of specifications, report on new product or process technology of competitors, and to discuss new specifications required by customers
-Undertakes product marketing, including but not limited to key competitive products, application usage
-Guides Product Launch Plans, including demo systems, sales training, etc
-Provides technical training to internal and external
-Provides technical training to internal and external customers

Buyer (上海)
Main responsibilities:
-Implement productivity projects at value stream level by product (re-sourcing, transfer, etc…)
-Lead cost reduction initiatives with suppliers through logistics optimization, value analysis workshops and product redesign. To be done with the support of the value stream and product development teams
-Directly negotiate with suppliers delegated by Commodity Sourcing Leader
-Participate in negotiations with suppliers led by relevant Commodity Business Leaders
-Ensure problem solving in accordance with the escalation procedure (i.e. all issues that can be solved without requiring involvement of S&P Supplier Response Team, supplier development, Commodity Business Leaders, etc.)
-Support Quality and Logistics functions within the value stream when problem solving cannot be handled at their stage
-Escalate critical / recurrent / complex issues to VS Leader and BU Purchasing Leader

Main responsibilities:
-Builds relationships with customers and maintains constant contact
-Calls on current and potential customers
-Keep customers informed on new products or services, pricing, changes

-Conducts sales training on products and selling techniques for distributors and direct retailers

Main responsibilities:
-Support Supplier Development Engineer to evaluate supplier capability against assessment standard and identify improvement opportunities
-Support sourcing projects from Supplier Selection to component PPAP release, ensuring that all required specifications, component reliability testing, and production process capacity properly meet technical, quality and logistical requirements
-Develop supplier technical know-how in the field of mechanical assemblies
-Participate in supplier quotes analysis, and assist with sourcing recommendations
-Monitor Supplier performance following Start of serial Deliveries and drive continuous improvement
